Unusual Large Vintage Figural Papago Indian Olla Form Basket Mint
A fine and nicely sized example of a Papago olla that has figural representations of saquaro cacti. Made of yucca and dyed yucca on a coiled bear grass bundle it has a round Pima style start but is definitely Papago in origin. It blends the classic fully wrapped elements in the center with a wheat stitch on the top, bottom, and base. Nice old example bound to show well in your display and it has a LOW PRICE too!
