This rare hunting set was clearly made for utilitarian use and has beautiful red dyed canvas and trade cloth designs. The set is made from wolf (or coyote) hide, trade cloth, red-dyed canvas, and sinew. The quiver measures approximately 28" long x 9 1/2" wide (not including fringe). The wooden bow measures approximately 35 long and retains the sinew string.
The well-constructed small bag is made from wolf (or coyote) pelt, wood, and sinew and has two pouches--one main pouch and an inner pouch on the flap that has three ties. Inside the tied pouch, there is a discoidal-like rounded stone with a flat side. The small rounded stone measures approximately 3" x 2" x 1.
It appears the stone ingeniously helps the flap stay closed and may have had other uses since it is clearly stylized and shaped. The small bag measures approximately 8" wide x 10" long (including snout of pelt).
It has two arrows which include one wooden arrow with bird stone point and one wooden arrow with a blunted wooden end (for birds). The stone bird arrow measures approximately 28" long while the wooden bird arrow measures approximately 19 1/4" long. The small wolf (or coyote) bag has an old torn and crumpled newspaper stuffed in the main pouch dated December 14th, 1944, from Cortland, New York. This old newspaper was likely placed in the bag for it to keep shape by the previous owner.
I'm not sure about the tribal affliction but I suppose it could be Onondaga (Iroquois) based on style and proximity to Cortland. I'm not sure about age but it is clearly old. Obviously, there is hair loss and hardening.
