Native American Plains Indian stone head war club. Demilune form with incised X's and dots, drilled with a wood shaft and leather covering and strap, with a fringe and suspension loop. Bears an IMW Collection label. He was friends with Edward H. Colin Taylor (1937 2004) a noted ethnologist on the subject. He had a museum at his home The Forge in Sussex. He wrote Portraits of Native Americans published by Salamander Books in 1997.

Dimensions: 49.5cm long, the head 13.5cm long x 5.6cm thick x 6cm deep. Condition: Some wear (see photographs). The head has possibly been remounted as there are signs of an older attachment. The head is very slightly loose on the shaft. The item "Native American Plains Indian stone head war club.
