Native American Indian. Ojibwe beaded band. Provenance. C1890

A beautiful piece of Ojiibwe beaded work of superb design and colour. Floral and vine design with a cloth back. Old inventory label indicates this came from the Great Lakes area of North America and may alternatively be Chippewa c1890. Robert Barley Antiques London 2002. Dimensions: 115cm long x 15cm wide. There are a couple of tiny and insignificant areas of bead loss (see photographs).
