It depicts over a dozen Native Americans performing an Indian Bear Dance. Some wear bearskins, including the bear head over their own. The others are heavily painted or tattooed with beautiful concentric circle designs. It is very large (folio size), measuring approximately 10.5 x 14.5 inches (26.5 x 36.5 cm).

The picture fills most of the page, with a French caption below. The backside has a long article (in french) that describes the scene, along with some unrelated text. The caption reads: La danse de l'ours which roughly translates to: The Dance of Bears The page is in excellent condition for its age. There is text/photos on the back of the print.
