Up for listing is this Nyomanseter Bali Art Carved Wood Sculpture Vishnu Riding Garuda Figurine Signed. On the back there is a piece of paper taped to the sculpture that reads. Top figure is the Thunderbird.

He is the Segilie Tyee (Creator God) and when he flaps his wings and blinks his eyes, it rains and storms; thus the evil spirits are driven to the lonely high mountain ranges.

Bottom figure is Chet-Woot the Bear who is respected by all Indians for his strength and cunning. Very beautiful piece from the well respected Williams family of carvings. As a full disclosure, the wings are held by a single nail, which holds the wings up fine, but is slightly loose so the wings will tilt if nudged.
