Antique Pima Basket, Native American
Large antique Pima willow and devils claw deep dish "harvesting" basket from the early 1900s. These large early baskets were originally woven for harvesting saguaro and prickly pear fruit to make wine for ceremonial dances and to harvest a variety of grains and seeds. This is a nice old basket in overall good condition for its age.
