ANTIQUE Native American / PLAINS INDIAN GHOST DANCE CLUB / Wand Circa 1880

Very Rare and all Original ANTIQUE Native American / PLAINS INDIAN GHOST DANCE CLUB / Wand. IT features Two Buffalo Horns bound with a strip of hide which is covered with hand sewn green beads.

The handle is wrapped in red and gray dyed weaved horse hair, with 14 rows of yellow and 4 rows of. Hand stitched beads at the base of the handle. At the end of the handle is a large natural black horse hair mane.

THE GHOST DANCE WAS FIRST INTRODUCED BY PLAINS INDIANS IN THE 1880's AS A SPIRITUAL, RELIGIOUS AND UNIFICATION OF SOLIDARITY AMONG THE TRIBES. THIS GHOST DANCE CLUB/STICK MEASURES 22 INCHES LONG; 8.5 INCHES WIDE; AND 1.75 INCHES IN DEPTH, the horse hair mane is approx.
