This was acquired out of an estate in Ojai, CA, and recently came out of my parents large collection, after a 25+ year storage. The other is shown in the last 2 photos. The Mortar measures 5 1/2" across x 3" high - a wonderful, unusual smaller size. The Pestle measures 5" long x 2" across at the large end, and narrows to 1 1/4 at the smaller. Condition is excellent, with no damage of any kind, except for natural inclusions, as expected (all sides shown).

A wonderful smaller piece, coming from a smoke free environment, and one that would show nicely added to any fine collection. Bowl: 4 1/2 lbs/Pestle: 1 lb.
