Antique Native American Beaded Medicine Cap Hunting Cap-Apache

We have an old beaded leather skull cap we just found and are trying to figure out if its Native American or not. The skull cap is similar to Apache medicine caps or Navajo Hunting caps and we have shown one in a photo above but we are not experts in this area.

It has a beaded arrow on each side with a beaded star in the back. It has some old beads with a few buttons that could be mother of pearl. The inside has some red staining that may have been dones by red ochre for religious reasons..

The cap has seen seen some days and has some rips on the inside cloth and has a stain on both sides.. Possibly used for re-enactments and such... You be the judge but it does look like the old skull caps that some Native Americans used..
