Coin Silver Engraved Dogfish Spoon late 19th. By Kaigani or Northern Haida people. Bought it from a large collection in Vancouver years ago that had a large collection of Argillite that was donated to the, Royal British Columbia Museum. Beautifully Hand Worked Engraved Depiction of a U-Form Shark on the bowl and a Figural Eagle Finial at the top.
This spoon is approximately 6" Long by 1.5" Wide. This spoon comes with a custom fitted wood stand.
On the back there is some rough solder where the Eagle Finial was attached, shown in the last two photos. Overall for the age of this item its in Great Condition.
