Circa 1920's or 30's from my best guesstimate. This is an estate sale find from a Salt Lake City, Utah collection of baskets. This beautiful Native American basket was made in the Northern California/Oregon Pacific Northwest area. See photos for full description. The basket is in good condition, with a few flaws.

It is finished in a light honey color, a darker brown color, rust, and has a few bright red accent pieces on the sides. There is some wear and a few broken pieces on the top rim, some darker staining on the inside bottom of the basket, a few small broken areas on the inside center bottom, and one section of the red accent area on the side, as shown in the photos. Not quite round in shape, but it is flexible. It is a really neat piece! 9" across X 5 1/4" high.
