From a Tucson, Arizona collector's estate. Most likely Yupik or Inuit. This is a genuinely old doll almost certainly made for native use and not as a souvenir. Circa 1920's to 1950's but it could prove to be a good deal older. The boots are sealskin and the parka most likely caribou. The doll measures 11 inches long. The photos tell the story about the doll's condition. Shows obvious signs of wear and use. There is a hole at the chin exposing the stuffing material. A very rare piece, worthy of a museum collection.
