The Great Grand Daughter stated that is was from her Great Grandmother whom was Native American. I believe it came from the Quanah area of Texas. The Estate sale was in Saint Jo, TX not far from there. The chair is made'out of square or one side looks outward more as you may be wondering from the pics. I was told it was deer skin from the Great Grand Daughter.
The feet are worn still sturdy but I don't think sitting in it would be a good idea looks like one of the hide rings around the leg has split. Its not wobbly like the joints are loose.
