This large finely woven example is woven from Thule and the stunning imbricated designs from natural dyed bear grasses in purple, orange and yellow to produce the striking designs that encircle the periphery. Note how bright and well preserved the colors are!
The design features two central bands of key fret patterns with a candy cane edge pattern on the bottom and top rim. The basket measures a very respectable large size of 9" in D and stands 5 1/4" tall.The best of the best type of basket worthy of any museum collection.
