Up for sale are from my most recent finds! This beautiful Native American ancient pickaxe (this is how the widow described it) stone came from a wonderful estate of a man who was described by his widow as a'an amateur Indian Jones of sorts'. He was an early film documentary film maker who traveled and explored all over the world and hence where his extensive collection of interesting and amazing artifacts came from. This piece was told to me to be Pre-Columbian in origin and collected in Hiwassee River and is labelled accordingly when it was uncovered. The original owner had a vast collection of such artifacts, collected in the 50's and 60's.
It has a wonderful patina and is carved with by a skilled artisan hand. The item looks very ancient and there are no signs of modern tooling. I have listed many more incredible pieces from this kollection.
