PAIR of CROW TYPE BEADED MOCCASINS - PLATEAU, c. Beautiful Design & Colors - Rawhide Soles. This is a wonderful pair of adult beaded moccasins that are Plateau in origin and perhaps Crow, circa 1880s, or so. Mocs are 10 1/2 long with rawhide soles and very soft native tanned hide uppers.

Beads are very small and are thread sewn, and the open design features many bead colors including white-heart red, pink, 2 blues, green, black, clear, white, clear raspberry , etc. Condition is original and excellent with a few of the beads missing on the toe of one moccasin, as pictured. There is a split on one side where moccasins usually split, and this has been stabilized with a flexible glue, again as pictured. These are stunning in person and quite early, and they show good use. These were just found in New England.
