(not stiff) It is very hard to find early bags like this, ive seen them sell for 5000. I bought this tobacco bag directly out of the badlands in South Dakota this summer just outside the reservation. Very long neck, overall with fringe measuring at 35 inches almost three feet long!!! Just like what you see in museums and in the early photographs of the first Sioux warriors that were photographed. Real nice early seed bead colors butterscotch, deep blue, cobalt blue, greasy yellow etc...We are just getting started...... Once a year we do a mass listing of some of our Native American collection out of our Museum so check back often. Mocs, pipe bags, blanket strip, pottery, mirror bag, blanket strips, and other 19th century items that we will be listing over the next month.
