Late 1800s, made of Proghorn horn. The handle was decorated with 19th century Murano beads. The upper part was folded and shaped with fire depicting the head of a snake, symbol of connection with the mother earth. The spoon was meant for ceremonial use to eat Wasna, which consists of bison meat and fat, corn and wild berries, hence the snake symbol on the top.
