NATIVE AMERICAN PIPE TOMAHAWK WITH ORIGINAL HAND CARVED TACK DECORATED WOODEN HANDLE CIRCA LATE 1800S - EARLY 1900S! HAND FORGED HEAD FASHIONED FROM A HAND HAMMERED GUN BARREL; WITH RIFLING EVIDENT IN THE PIPES BOWL! PEWTER INSERT IN THE BLADES EYE! SIXTY (60) NON-MAGNETIC SQUARE SHANK BRASS TACKS ON THE HAFT; THAT MEASURES 23 X 9 X 2 AND HAS ONE DROP HOLE.

BEAUTIFULLY FILE BRANDED OVER ALL WITH A DEEP DARK RICH BROWN PATINA ON THE WOOD HANDLE; A GREAT OLD 19TH CENTURY NATIVE AMERICAN ANTIQUE. THIS IS A HEAVY PIECE THAT COULD HAVE BEEN USED AS A WEAPON OR A PIPE BECAUSE IT WAS FORGED FROM A GUNS BARREL!

THE WEIGHT OF THIS PIPE TOMAHAWK; AT 2 POUNDS 4 OUNCES, IS NEARLY TWICE THE WEIGHT OF THE AVERAGE PIPE TOMAHAWK. ITS IN NEAR PERFECT, ORIGINAL, EXCELLENT ANTIQUE CONDITION. THE PIECE HAS NO DAMAGE, REPAIRS, OR MISSING PARTS AND IS NEAR PERFECT. I LOVE THIS PIECE AND I WOULD KEEP IT IF I DID NOT NEED TO RAISE CASH TO PAY PAST DUE BILLS.

ALL THE BEST TO YOU AND YOURS AND THANKS FOR LOOKING. I HOPE YOU ARE THE LUCKY WINNER... ALL THE BEST TO YOU AND YOURS... This axe once belonged to Huck Gill, who took it on a trade from the Ohio collector; Charles Wests Pre-Historic Man Indian Relic Museum. Gill at the Ohio Archaeological Society.

I acquired this pipe tomahawk directly from the great grandson of Huck Gill; Wayne McAfee! A LINK TO PICTURES OF CHARLES WEST AND HIS Pre-Historic Indian Relic Museum; that is now closed, FOLLOWS.
