A fine rare early Northwest Coast Tlingit hand Indian hand carved cedar totem circa 1900. The totem depicts great well carved deep imagery featuring a Raven, bear holding a wolf and a bear at the base.
The totem stands 14 1/8" tall x 2" w x 1 2/3 deep and retains traces of early pigments. There is some stable age cracks noted and it is missing its original base, but has a great aged patina that one loves to see in old wood carvings The totem makes an impressive display item and a fine addition to anyone's collection.
