The totem features a Thunderbird and Bear and is painted in great old and original pigments. Painted in classic Kwakiutl colors of red, black and green. Signed on the back " Hand carved and painted by Kwakiutl Indians of British Columbia " to the reverse. See illustration # 110 for a totem with identical imagery.
