APPEARS TO BE MADE OF DEER SKIN AND DECORATED WITH TWO DIFFERENT SIZES OF FINE AND COLORFUL BEADS. THE POUCH WAS CLEARLY USED BUT REMAINS IN INCREDIBLY ORIGINAL CONDITION. THE INTERIOR OF THE POUCH APPEARS TO HAVE CONTAINED A RED OR ORANGE DYE.THERE ARE TWO SPLITS IN THE LEATHER 1" AND 1/2" ON THE SAME SIDE AND ARE DIFFICULT TO SEE IN THE PICS. THERE ARE ALSO SOME VERY OLD STAINS TO THE LEATHER THAT DO APPEAR IN THE PICS. THE POUCH PROBABLY DATES TO 1875 GIVE OR TAKE. YOU MAKE THE CALL AS TO THE PLAINS TRIBE.
