1860's to 1870's beaded Sioux bag. Shows great patina and use.
The design is similar on both sides, all sinew sewn. Great early seed bead colors including early rose white heart center reds.
Brain tanned hide shows great patina from years of use. The bag is nearly 150 + years old. The only problem area is that the bottom fringe is a little crispy, but the bag it's self is not. 99.5% of all the beads are intact, I have a photo of the only beads missing, the photo does show the twisted sinew which is an earlier style of beading.We are just getting started......
