I was just informed by a kind a Ebayer that this pot is Zuni ACOMA Pueblo. However, I do not know how they know.
I was told LAGUNA from a gallery in New Mexico and I believe one in Arizona. I do know I believe in honesty.
So, If anyone else has thoughts, please let me know your opinion and expertise/knowledge base. Heres an informative comment from a collector... I owned several Acoma and Laguna pots in the past and I think your Laguna is just as accurate as Acoma, they used same clay source and sometimes indistinquishable in design and technique unless it is heavy or thick walled, which does not appear to be.
This collector has a good eye... This pot is not thick walled. The item "Antique ZUNI Acoma Laguna.
