There is a grey patina forming on the Sterling Silver, giving this cuff a lovely antique feel. This listing is for the item only. This beautiful piece was made by a very talented Native American silversmith. It features hand crafted silversmith work throughout. Antique Native American jewelry is very rare to find.
This is due to these pieces being made for reservation and personal use before the tourist trade became popular. Very few pieces were made and even less survived to today. Native American silversmiths, working from 1870 to 1900, learned the stamping of ornaments from Mexican leather workers, who had learned the skill from silversmiths. Stampings are usually hand hammered using a handcrafted stamp and include traditional Native American symbols. Bisbee Turquoise is mined in Arizona and considered very rare.
It is known for its gorgeous blue hue with an internal brown matrix throughout the stone. PLEASE WAIT FOR AN UPDATED INVOICE BEFORE PAYING FOR YOUR ITEMS. Thank you for your cooperation.
