This is a rare example of a Plains Indian "flat ball" war club from the mid 1800's. This is a seldom seen style. The blade was once a much longer buffalo lance or knife blade that possibly was broken or damaged and then re-purposed into the war club's blade. Many old brass tacks are on the head and handle, all are old square shank style tacks.Ceremonial file brands along the club to. Good signs of wear and tear on the club but its in excellent condition. This would have been an impressive weapon carried by an Indian warrior or chief. A rare style from a bygone era. The war club is in excellent condition with no repairs or damage. VERY NICE patina all over, really shows its age! Please ask any questions you may have. I guarantee this war club to be authentic. Thank you so much for looking!
