Antique Navajo Rug Zuni Blanket 1890. Beautiful and early Navajo or Zuni weaving. This is made of handspun and carded churro wool, woven on cotton string warp. Red is raveled and recarded flannel.
A very unique and tightly woven piece! Great condition for such an old and rare example. Has a few moth nibbles.
Both ends have been sewn apparently some time ago by a treadle machine. Measures: 42 x 31 inches.
