This is a Navajo rug made in the Ganado. Weve never used it or displayed it and have always kept it safely stored in a smoke-free environment. It measures approximately 60 inches by 45 inches. This rug is tightly woven and has a beautiful Valero star pattern with an unusual bifurcated central star motif. The colors are vivid and even on both sides as shown in the photos (the first two photos each show a different side of the rug).
This rug is in very good condition with no tears, no holes, no odors, and no moth nibbles. The few spots on it (as shown in the photos) were already there when we bought it, and weve never had the rug cleaned. Three corner tassels are missing and there are a few loose threads around the edge as shown in the photos.
We believe this rug is all original and we dont see any repairs. We dont know any of its history prior to the time we bought it.
