A most exquisite doll, Portrait of Native American Indian doll with character face and sienna complexion. She stands 7.5 inches tall. Her head has no markings as far as I can see when I pull the wig up. This style of small Indian dolls heads were made by Armand Marseille for another doll maker. She has brown glass eyes.
Her open mouth shows a few teeth. The black wig is mohair, there is no pate on the top of the head.
There are no cracks or chips in the head. The body is jointed and made of composition.
She is wearing a native american style skirt and jacket made of felt with a matching headband and feather. There is no shirt beneath the jacket. Only the dark composition body.
The jacket has been tacked to the. One side is still attached the other shows the tack hole in the body.
She has a sash with a feather. The shoes are painted on. I believe she is an MH 200 mold, her brother doll is listed as well and is marked.READ and LOOK at the pictures. I welcome any questions, do not make any assumptions. I have included all information I would want to know as a collector but. Very collector has their own concerns, so please just send me a message.
