Each of these photograph-prints are copyrighted in 1899 by the Heyn Photo of Omaha Nebraska and they were published by the Burkley Printing Company. In the upper left corner of each print the Indians are identified as Painted Horse, Chief, Ogalalla--Left Hand Bear, Ogalalla Sioux Chief-Broken Arm, Chief, Sioux-Yellow Shirt, Brule. " Each print measures 6 1/2" by 8 1/4" and they come framed under early glass in the original 12" by 31 sectioned frame. The colors are still strong however there is some light edge toning to the prints and the dark oak frame has a couple of small knicks to the edges and raised floral border.
