This outstanding turn of the 19th century Cree Beaded Tobacco Bag measures approx. 28" long and 6" wide at the beaded panel. The bead decoration is stunningly beautiful and very well preserved. This wonderful Cree Indian Tobacco Bag is thread-sewn of softly tanned hide with beautiful, floral beaded designs executed using colors of red white-heart, pony trader blue, cobalt, amber, pink, black and white.The throat is decorated with cobalt and white edge beading. The Bag has a wonderfully preserved, hide fringe at the bottom edge.
