100 Old 5/16 19th C Square Shank Brass Tacks Crow Knife Sheath Tomahawk Handle
Up for your consideration comes this GROUP OF 100 OLD, RARE AND ORIGINAL ANTIQUE BRASS TACKS. THESE SQUARE SHANK BRASS TRADE TACKS ARE CORRECT FOR PIPE, TOMAHAWK HANDLES, AND PLAINS KNIFE SHEATH AND MUCH MORE. This is a great size to find as most are larger. The Indians used these to decorate many items. The earliest trade tacks were made of solid cast brass with brass square tapered shanks and where traded by the Hudson Bay Company, North West Trade Company and others. Dome top heads that measure aprox 5/16" to 11/32", depends on the way the head is turned when measuring. SEE ALL PHOTOS for measurements as well as description.
